Co widzielismy jeszcze w Singapurze??? Odwiedzilismy dzielnice hinduska tzw Little india, ktora podobala nam sie chyba najbardziej. Mozna poczuc sie naprawde jakby sie bylo w Indiach. Tu juz nie jest sterylnie czysto i nie zadko brzydko pachnie ale ma to tez swoj unikatowy urok. Nawet podobal nam sie taki nielad i nieporzadek. Hindusi ubieraja sie bardzo kolorowo, ale wg mnie jednak tylko kobiety wygladaja wowczas ladnie. Panowie Hindusi zas ubieraja sie w stylu macho - podrywacza z dyskoteki z lat 50 - 60. Smiesznie wygladaja, ale nie sa tego chyba swiadomi. Ciagnie ich tez do bialych kobiet czewgo Ola doswiadczyla osobiscie majac kilka ofert matrymonialnych. Nie skorzystala jednak.
Kolejnym naszym punktem zwiedzania byla dzielnica muzulmanska. Tu tez nam sie podobalo. Muzulmanie to przyjazni i spokojni ludzie a TV klamie!!! Odwiedzilismy tez jeden z meczetow ale 'modlilismy' sie w osobnych salach, ja dla panow Ola zas przybrala gustowny brazowy plaszcz i udala sie kontemplowac do sali zenskiej.
Ostatniego dnia udalismy sie do bardzo fajnego rezerwatu przyrody, zreszta jednego z wielu w SG. Ola po kolej wywolywala przyslowiowego wilka z lasu. I tak, najpierw zjawila sie wiewiorka, potem byly zowie, kolejna waz a na koniec spotkalismy cale stado rozbrykanych malych malp. Spedzilismy w ich towarzystwie dobre pol godziny ale ucieklismy jak jedna z nich chciala napic sie Oli cocacoli. Tego bylo juz za wiele.

W Singapurze mielismy przyjemnosc mieszkac u naszych rodakow Kamila i Izy, ktorym niniejszym dziekujemy bardzo za wyjatkowo mila goscine. Fajnie bylo pogadac po polsku na drugim koncu swiata i dowiedziec sie wielu ciekawych rzeczy o Singapurze i nie tylko. Powiem szczerze, ze po tych kilku dniach w ich super mieszkaniu z basenem na zewnatrz nie chcialo mi sie stamtad wyjezdzac. Dzieki Wam jeszcze raz i mamy nadzieje, ze wasza roczna podroz do Polski motorem sie wkrotce zisci.

Dzielnica China Town - w zasadzie nas nie zachwycila. Niby ladne budynki ale bazar taki w polskim stylu. Tzn w chinskim wydaniu na terenie Polski. Fakt faktem, ze mozna tanio zjesc w jednej licznych jadlodalni. Na uwage zasluguje chinska swiatynia tzw stupa. W srodku dominuje kolor czerwono - zloty i wszedzie sa posagi i posazki Buddy.

Welcome to Singapore! We have spent there very nice 4 days. Were unbelievable luck as we found a host, which was a couple from Poland who are living in Singapore by now. I just love Hospitalityclub and will for ever thankful to Veit who had idea to create that organisation. So, as I said, we had really wonderful days in Singapore. The city is extremely clean, safe and very well organised. It doesn't look as a Asian city, at least not like we expected to be. Its like essence of the best parts of some western European cities like London, Paris, Stockholm and put together on the tip of Malaysian peninsula. Singapore is famous from its very strict law. Signs remind it on every step. Its allowed to smoke, litter, spit, chew a gum, drink and eat in public transport... Some restriction sounds stupid but thank that city has very low crime, very little rubbish on the street, mostly in Little India. Indian part of town looks quite different. It isn't so clean and it smells sometimes bad but to be honest, we liked it very much! People wear colorful clothes, there is lot of Indian restaurants, shops, temples. It was nice strolling through Littlew India and just look at the people. Modern side of town is a commercial district with sky scrappers like in big towns of USA, where more workers are 'white' - Europeans, Americans or Australians. They live in nice apartments, enjoy life and nice year whole year round. We saw even rugby match where most of players where 'white'. Look like paradise for them, but for a short time I guess. Any place gets boring after some time. What we noticed also is that Singaporeans are crazy shopping lovers. Never seen so big concentration of really huge shopping mall like in SG. Main street is a Orchid street, which is full of shopping centres, which are full of people. Another place for spending time for people are restaurants. They are everywhere too. From cheap places called Hawker centre to restaurants in 5 stairs hotels. We preferred the cheapest, where the food was excellent and cost around 5 Sing dollars for a quite big portion. Food lovers paradise. Last day we spent wandering through one of many nature reserve in SG. We met a squeal, water turtle, wizard and big family of friendly monkeys. They didn't care of people being around and were just playing like monkeys used to do. Only one of them was very interested to grab a cola can from Ola, but she lost and just showed to Ola ugly yellow teeth. More details on the pictures in posts about Singapore.
